Welcome
to Anton Maix Fabrics
y
summers spent in northern New Mexico impressed images of form and
color that have influenced a new collection from Anton Maix. These
images converged with a talented Danish designer and a concept for
a twisted wool cloth, a call from an old business partner who designs
a quality wool carpet in Georgia and the opportunity to represent
one of the finest and most versatile tanneries in Austria, and I
decided that retirement is a waste of time, talent and opportunity.
Anton Maix is excited to announce that we are up and running and
dedicated to supplying our standard service of excellence in design,
color, performance. We have appointed Randy Carpenter and Gary Hardeman
of RCS Custom and Anthony Waynick of Pinnacle Interiors as our primary
Aircraft representatives. Their background in the aircraft industry
will enhance their ability to help our customers relate our new
products to their individual needs, solve problems and ensure full
service with every order.
We are proud to represent Vogl Leather
of Austria, foremost in automobile leather, we have collaborated
to produce a top quality leather line to meet and exceed aircraft
specifications. We perceived a need in the industry for leather
that will deliver on time with certification to FAA standards.
We went straight to the tannery where we have specialists to oversee
each order and full time technicians who are constantly testing
and developing new products. We like to know where all our products
are made and who makes them. We also trace all our materials to
the source. We are proud to say that every product in this collection
is made of Fine New Zealand wool and Austrian hides. They are
made in New Zealand, Scandanavia, Western Europe and the United
States.
Our carpets are the work of RCS Custom in
Georgia. They use only New Zealand wool and the designs and colors
are done in house. Delivery is quick and dependable. Taos is the
groundwork for the new textile group: texture reminiscent of the
rock and clay of New Mexico in rustic earth tones becomes a versatile
basic textile with tone on tone accents of color and hints of
sunlight bouncing off the hills and valleys as the earth floor
wakens to take her place in the day. Charma, that mystical region
located in the heart of the pottery pueblos names a design I found
in Scandanavia. This modern textile simulates one of the popular
shapes prevelant in the pottery from this area and the tear drop
like shape reminds me of the "Trail of Tears"( Nunna dual Tsuny)
when the Cherokee left the east and traveled west with great adversity
and many tears. Charma is a product of the foremost Dutch designer,
Satyendra Pakhale. Anton Maix is proud to put our name on all
of these innovative, quality products.
We invite you to see these products
